Site preparation
Before starting to harvest, it is necessary to mark and measure the borders of a cutting site, to define the area to be cut down, to mark harvesting hauls, as well as to select, mark and measure trees that are to be harvested or left for biodiversity.
Upon marking the cutting site, its map and the sheets with the volume calculations of cut and preserved trees are put together. Cutting site documents are mandatory in order to obtain a forest felling permit.
