Maintenance

After reforestation or afforestation, plantings must be maintained and protected.  Maintenance of plantings includes protection against ungulates, unwanted vegetation or insects. Plantings can be protected by fencing, treatment with repellents or other means, as well as by eliminating unwanted vegetation.
